WELCOME! We hope you do decide to participate in our parish’s blog – a chance to share our faith.
Check the META section at the bottom of the right panel for registration (just as user unless you want your own blog – note this choice on the right when registering)
There are several levels of participation:
1. Anyone can read our parish blog: Beads of St. Dominic by simply typing in
beadsofstdominic.wordpress.com
in the address line on your internet browser screen. WordPress is the organization providing this free website to us. To find out more about it, type in the address
wordpress.com
** This will come up with the most recent posts. To see the most recent comments click on the comments tab on the upper right hand side of the window, right next to the posts tab.
To see older posts and comments look at the archives and the categories.
2. Anyone may make a suggestion or e-mail content to churchofstdominic.org.beads@gmail.com. You will receive a response to your e-mail.
3. You may Leave a Comment on a particular post by clicking on that invitation. Whether you are required to be a registered user or not depends on the website administrator. Comments will be moderated in order to catch errors before putting them on the website. This may take a few minutes or a few days.
**Click on the ABOUT tab on the top of the page for our Comments Policy.**
4. You may Be the first to like this post by clicking on this invitation, often a star. If you are not a registered user, you will be asked to become one.
5. You may become a regular contributer, an author, by requesting that status from the parish administrator by e-mailing us at churchofstdominic.org.beads@gmail.com
Authors may enter their stories as “posts” as well as “comments”.
6. You may become an editor, also by request through the mail as in number 4. This gives you the responsiblity of not only entering and editing posts and pages but of moderating comments.
7. We will have only one administrator, one person who can make policies or messes throughout the blog.
No matter what your official level of participation is, we want to know and share your thoughts about this incredibly rich faith we have and how it impacts your life!
